From Family Heirloom to Super Broncos: The McGuire Legacy

Our journey starts in 1971, when Ryan McGuire’s grandparents bought a brand-new green Ford Bronco from Golden Ford in Golden, Colorado. It was Grandma McGuire’s daily driver—a reliable ride to and from the courthouse where she worked. For Ryan, born in 1974, that Bronco wasn’t just a family vehicle. It was a symbol of home, heritage, and hands-on experience.

He grew up around that Bronco—washing it, waxing it, and helping keep it running. It sat faithfully in the garage, gathering stories, not dust. And when the time came in 2005, Ryan made a heartfelt trade: gifting his parents a new Jeep so he could take over caretaking the ‘71. It was less about owning a classic and more about continuing a family legacy.

Years later, he undertook a careful restoration—keeping the original paint, preserving the iconic 3-on-the-tree shifter, and tastefully modernizing it with a 3-inch lift, disc brakes, and Sniper fuel injection. Every upgrade was done with respect for the original vehicle, blending function and nostalgia seamlessly.

Building Broncos, Building Memories

That green ’71 was just the beginning. Over time, Ryan’s garage became a haven for Broncos of all generations. From early first-gens to rare second gens and modern builds, each project was a tribute to the timeless spirit of the Bronco.

What started with a single-family vehicle has turned into a full-blown passion for restoring, customizing, and celebrating these iconic machines. Whether it’s rolling into car shows, crawling through trails in the Rockies, or cruising down open highways, the Broncos Ryan builds—known affectionately as “Super Broncos”—are built to perform, inspire, and turn heads.

Generations of Grit and Green Paint

That passion didn’t stop with Ryan. It’s now passed on to the next generation. His daughter, who grew up in the garage alongside him, recently bought her own 2022 Wildtrak Bronco—finished in green, just like her dad’s Wildtrak. She’s been surrounded by Broncos her whole life, with the original ’71 parked right at home and many more passing through the family shop. Now, she’s carrying on the tradition in her own way, proving that the Bronco bug runs deep in the McGuire family.

More Than a Build—A Way of Life

Today, whether Ryan is in Littleton, Colorado or Billings, Montana, he’s always within reach of adventure—and a Bronco. With each build, he’s not just preserving history. He’s crafting new stories, sharing knowledge, and helping others discover the joy of these legendary vehicles.

This isn’t just a business. It’s a bond—between family, metal, and memories. Whether you're here to admire, collaborate, or build your own dream Bronco, welcome to the herd.
